The Internet Invitational is down to its final 16 players after Team White, captained by Ryan Ruffels, defeated Wesley Bryan’s Team Green. That means it is time for our latest power rankings, with Big John taking over the number-one spot from Micah Morris.

There is an important difference in this edition. Every movement is calculated against the previous ranking of Team White players only. Eliminated Team Green players have been removed from the comparison entirely. That way, a player does not appear to jump ten places simply because half the field went home.

How to read the rankings: ▲ means up, ▼ means down and — means no change compared with the 16 Team White players’ relative order after Episode 3. Records are shown as wins-draws-losses across Episodes 1–4. For the matches stopped once Team White had secured victory, all-square standings are treated as halves for our tracking purposes.

Final 16 power rankings: player-by-player

1. Big John (▲ 2)

Big John takes top spot after beating Sam Heung Min 3&2. His consistent match-play performances make him our new number one, overtaking both Micah Morris and captain Ryan Ruffels.

2. Micah Morris (▼ 1)

A tie with George Bryan keeps Micah near the top. He drops one place because of Big John’s rise, not because his chances have collapsed.

3. Ryan Ruffels (▼ 1)

The winning captain remains a serious contender. His singles match with Wesley Bryan finished level and he moves from second to third within the surviving field.

4. Marissa Wenzler (▲ 1)

Marissa rises one spot in the re-ranked field. Her singles match with Chaz was all square when the teams were called in, so it would be wrong to manufacture a decisive result.

5. Grant Horvat (▼ 1)

A narrow 1-up defeat to Evan Thompson sees Grant fall one place in our rankings, although his position in the top five still reflects his quality and tournament potential.

6. Fat Perez (—)

Fat Perez stays sixth following his 1-up result against Seb Carmichael-Brown. A steady place in the top half is a reflection of the threat he continues to pose.

7. Jake Adams (▲ 2)

Jake climbs two places to seventh. His match with Cole Lantz stood all square when play was halted, so this ranking is about his overall prospects, not a singles victory that never happened.

8. Ryan Whitney (—)

Whitney stays eighth after finishing 2 up against Sabrina Andolpho, maintaining a place in the leading half of the surviving field.

9. Justin Gaethje (▲ 2)

Justin rises two places and brings momentum from a 4&3 win over Bobby Fairways. The remaining field now has to take his challenge seriously.

10. Paige Spiranac (▼ 3)

Paige falls three spots to tenth after a 1-up defeat to Claire Hogle. The rankings remain about her prospects under the tournament’s playing conditions, rather than a verdict on her wider golfing ability.

11. Bubbie (▼ 1)

Bubbie moves down one position after losing 4&3 to Mac Boucher. There is still time to recover, but others have edged ahead in our assessment.

12. Bobby Ray (—)

Bobby Ray holds twelfth. His match against Tisha Alyn was all square when play stopped; that is recorded as a half for our tracker, not a match played through to the end.

13. Riggs (▲ 2)

Riggs gains two positions despite his match with Cheddy finishing tied. That movement reflects our reassessment of the remaining field, not points inherited from eliminated Team Green players.

14. Salim Sirur (▼ 1)

Salim secured a 1-up win over Kyle Forgeard but slips one place in our subjective order as Riggs moves ahead.

15. Jon Gruden (▼ 1)

Gruden falls one position despite a 3&2 win over PFT Commenter. His move is relative to the other surviving Team White players, not to the former 32-player field.

16. The Duke (—)

The Duke remains sixteenth, exactly where he ranked among Team White players before Episode 4. Callux was 2 up in their match when play ended, but that does not turn a stopped match into a completed result.

Who are the biggest risers and fallers?

Big John, Jake Adams, Justin Gaethje and Riggs each climb two positions, the biggest gains in the Final 16. Big John is the new leader after a convincing singles win, while Gaethje also made his mark in Episode 4.

Paige Spiranac falls three places, the biggest drop in our new list. The Duke stays sixteenth: he was already sixteenth among Team White’s players in our previous rankings, so his movement is correctly shown as unchanged.

Why some Episode 4 matches count as halves

Team White had enough points to advance before every singles match was played out, and the remaining players were called in. Our Internet Invitational results tracker records the outcomes and score positions at that moment. Matches shown all square are counted as halves for consistency, but they were not all completed to the final hole.

How we calculated the ranking changes

The Episode 3 power rankings listed all 32 players. We removed the 16 members of Team Green, retained the order of the surviving Team White players as a baseline, then compared that with our new Final 16 order. For example, Big John was third among the surviving 16 and is now first (▲2), while The Duke was sixteenth before and remains sixteenth (—). These are editorial rankings of tournament prospects, not an official event leaderboard.
