Our Eagles vs Bears preview looks at a Monday Night Football clash between two sides with NFC playoff ambitions, as the Philadelphia Eagles head to the Second City to take on the Chicago Bears.
Philadelphia Eagles form
The Eagles have won two tight games, beating the Commanders by two points (24-22) and the Titans by four points (24-20). QB Jalen Hurts has 40 of 62 for 467 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions. TE Dallas Goedert misses the game with a Knee injury, but he has five receptions for 81 yards and two touchdowns, so Hurts will have to target Devonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks. RB Saquon Barkley has 92 yards on 19 carries but no touchdowns yet.
Chicago Bears injury concerns
The Bears pounded the Panthers 59-37, but then lost to the Vikings 9-3. QB Caleb Williams is out for a few weeks with a hamstring injury, and although Tyson Bagent has cleared the concussion protocol, Case Keenum is expected to start this week. RB D’Andre Swift has 169 yards on 34 carries and three touchdowns, whilst RB Kyle Monangai has 147 yards on 20 carries and a touchdown. WR Kalif Raymond has 13 receptions for 124 yards.
The Eagles have won four of the last five meetings between the two sides, but the Bears won their last meeting in week 13 of the 2025 season 24-15. The Bears also lead the all-time series 31-17-1.
Eagles vs Bears prediction
The Bears without Caleb Williams are a different team to the one with Williams. This game should prove to be too much for the injured Bears, as the Eagles win by 10 points.
